Thanksgiving Day in the US (affectionately called "Turkey Day") is a holiday that occurs every last Thursday of November, during which a traditional turkey dinner is often shared with family and friends. The first Habitica Turkey Day was celebrated in November 2013.
The celebration includes NPC costume changes, the release of special items to all players, and a celebratory message announced by Bailey.
Item Releases[]
There is an Event Item Sequence associated with Turkey Day. One item was released each year from 2013-2018. Players with items remaining in the sequence received the next item, and starting in 2019 any players who had completed the sequence received a feast of pie.
| The Turkey pet was released during the very first Habitica Turkey Day celebration in 2013, and from then on players celebrating their first Habitica Turkey Day receive it. | The Gilded Turkey pet was released during the third Habitica Turkey Day celebration in 2015, and from then on players celebrating their third Habitica Turkey Day receive it. | The Gilded Turkey mount was released during the fourth Habitica Turkey Day celebration in 2016, and from then on players celebrating their fourth Habitica Turkey Day receive it. Once received, the Gilded Turkey mount can be found in the Stable under Special Mounts. |  Gilded Turkey mount |
| The Turkey costume was released during the fifth Habitica Turkey Day celebration in 2017, and from then on players celebrating their fifth Habitica Turkey Day receive it. It consists of a Turkey Helm, Turkey Armor, and Turkey tail. Once received the Turkey costume set can be found pinned under Rewards, and after purchase for 0 gold it is in the Inventory under Equipment. |  Turkey costume |
| The Gilded Turkey costume was released during the sixth Habitica Turkey Day celebration in 2018, and from then on players celebrating their sixth Habitica Turkey Day receive it. It consists of a Gilded Turkey Helm, Gilded Turkey Armor, and Gilded Turkey tail.
